Eqvalan Gold Multi Worm Treatment for Horses
Eqvalan Gold is a multi-spectrum formula for horses to treat a variety of worm infections in horses of all ages. This paste formula treats and controls roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, small and large strongyles, hairworms, neck threadworms, threadworms, ascarids, lungworms, large-mouth stomach worms, and bots. When administered as indicated, Eqvalan Gold is also effective in treating summer sores and dermatitis.
How does it work?
Eqvalan Gold comprises ivermectin and praziquantel. Ivermectin provides protection against roundworms, stomach worms, small and large strongyles, pinworms, hairworms, threadworms, and bots; whereas praziquantel is effective against tapeworms.

Directions
- Administer Eqvalan Gold Paste orally using a disposable syringe.
- To unlock the knurled ring, rotate it to 1/4 turn to the left, slide it along the plunger shaft to set the barrel at the appropriate weight marking, and rotate the plunger ring 1/4 turn to the right to lock it.
- Insert the syringe tip into horse’s mouth at interdental space and depress the plunger all the way down ensuring the entire dosage is deposited into pet’s mouth.
- Raise the horse’s head for a few seconds, so that the complete dosage is ingested.
Dosage:
- The recommended dosage for Eqvalan Gold is 200µg ivermectin and 1mg praziquantel per 2.2lbs(1kg) weight.
- Each mass marked on the syringe plunger dispatches an appropriate amount of paste to treat a 220lbs (100kg) weight horse.
- A single Eqvalan Gold syringe contains enough quantity of paste to treat one 1320lbs (600kg) horse.
- Mares: Use regularly at 6-8 week intervals during the times of summer and autumn.
- Stallions: Give at least two times a year
- Foals: Administer at 6-8 week intervals
Safety
- Avoid using in large animals aging less than 6 months
- Do not slaughter horses for human consumption within 14 days of the last treatment.
- Keep away from the reach of uninformed people, children, and pets
- Treat pregnant mares with additional care
- Do not drink, eat or smoke while using
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling the product
- Rush to a vet immediately if you notice any adverse reactions
