It prevents heartworm disease induced by Dirofilaria immitis for 8 weeks. Bravecto Plus for Large Cats is also useful in the treatment of intestinal worm infections caused by roundworms and hookworms.

Bravecto Plus for Cats contains fluralaner and moxidectin. Once applied, the formula quickly gets spread throughout the cat's body. As soon as fleas and ticks take the blood meal from the treated cat, they die. It prevents heartworm disease by eliminating the heartworm larvae and kills intestinal worms including roundworms and hookworms.

Bravest is advertised to last 3 months, but this product says 2 (as stated in a number of other questions), what's the deal? Is it actually a different product?

Bravecto Spot-On and Bravecto Plus are two different products available for Cats. Bravecto Spot-On is formulated with only a single active ingredient that provides parasite protection for 3 months whereas Bravecto Plus for Cats is formulated with an additional ingredient compared to Bravecto spot-on. Along with Fluralaner, it also contains Moxidectin which lasts up to 2 months.
the Bravecto I got from my vet lasts 3 months. Is Bravecto Plus the same?
