Revolution Plus (Orange) is safe and effective for medium cats eight weeks of age or older, weighing between 5.5 and 11 lbs. This ready to use topical solution needs to be applied year-round at monthly intervals for continuous protection. Revolution Plus Orange contains 30mg Selamectin and 5mg Sarolaner per tube.
Revolution Plus Orange – Fights Both Internal and External Parasites
Revolution Plus for Medium Cats is a simple-to-use, quick-drying, small-volume, topical solution that offers protection against the most common cat parasites. It offers broad-spectrum protection against fleas, ticks (Black-legged/Deer ticks, American dog & Gulf coast ticks), roundworms, hookworms, ear mites, and heartworms. Moreover, as fleas host tapeworms, Revolution Plus also reduces the risk of tapeworms by protecting your cat from fleas.
How does Revolution Plus for Medium Cats work?
Revolution Plus contains Selamectin and Sarolaner as active ingredients. Both these ingredients are absorbed into the cat’s skin and enter its bloodstream. Selamectin kills parasites by disrupting their normal neurotransmission. Sarolaner is an acaricide and insecticide that kills parasites by increasing their nerve stimulation. The unique dual action of Revolution Plus begins eliminating fleas within 6 hours and ticks within 24 hours of administration, and fights against heartworms, intestinal worms, and ear mites effectively.

Dosage and Administration
The recommended minimum dosage is 2.7mg selamectin per pound (6mg/kg) of body weight and 0.45 mg sarolaner per pound (1mg/kg) of body weight.

How do I apply Revolution Plus to my cat?
Applying Revolution Plus to your cat is as simple as 1-2-3.
- Press the cap to puncture the seal. Remove the cap and ensure that the tip is open.
- Part the fur at the base of your cat’s neck and touch tube tip to visible skin. Squeeze tube 3 or 4 times in one spot.
- Keeping the tube squeezed, glide it along the skin and away from the liquid, and then lift off. Ensure the tube is empty before throwing it out.
What are the side effects of Revolution Plus for Cats?
The most common side effects reported in clinical trials were temporary loss of appetite and drowsiness. No side effects were noted when Revolution Plus was used along with commonly used veterinary products.

Why is Revolution so much more expensive than Advantage Multi (Advecta). They both apparently work the same way.
